Hugo Boss Orange Fall 2012 Campaign

Check out the season's most fabulous offerings from the Hugo Boss Orange brand. Take a peek at the campaign's most important look to get a better grasp of the next season's hottest styles.

For the rapidly approaching fall season, Hugo Boss takes us to a trip in Barcelona. The Hugo Boss Orange fall 2012 campaign features supermodel Jac Jagaciak and male model Ryan Burns in a youthful, modern campaign shot by Cédric Buchet which definitely brings memories or at the very least, leaves quite a lot of room for daydreaming. As far as the ensembles are concerned youthfulness along with modern touches are the ones that unquestionably dominate.

Focusing on wardrobe staples and making sure to inject plenty of colorful touches is the strategy that proves to be the best one when it comes to creating chic looks and the fabulous pictures are a great illustration of this often forgotten fact. Denim still steals the spotlight as it becomes part of a multitude of interesting ensembles along with another beloved wardrobe staple, the leather jacket. Versatility is ensured through a multitude of beautiful pieces and accessories.

Fun sweaters, abstract prints or colorful jackets are only a few of the fabulous lust-worthy pieces the label brings into the spotlight. While feminine pieces such as dresses are also included, it's fairly clear that the brand's main focus is functionality and practicality. Comfort is another important concern if we take the footwear options into account. No sacrifice is needed in order to steal the spotlight in the rainy season.

As far as accessorizing goes, things are pretty straight-forward: option for versatile designs and keeping classiness in mind are the main alternatives that can help you stay chic in the upcoming months. Choose between spacious handbags, versatile boots or fun scarfs to make the looks more sophisticated. For an even more interesting allure, a classy watch or gorgeous sunglasses can prove the best options. With so many fabulous style suggestions, the next month will definitely prove quite interesting fashion wise.

Paris Fashion Week SS 2012...Anne-Catherine

Anne-Catherine, before Sonia Rykiel, Paris, October 2011.

I can almost feel the heat (despite it still being sweater weather in the UK!) on the day I took these photos in Paris in early October last year. It was soooo hot.....and we had all packed for cooler, Autumn weather. Anne-Catherine got it right though - a sheer oversized shirt paired with a cute pair of shorts and loafers. Chic in the heat.

Recreate Anne-Catherine's Look (kind of):

Diane von Furstenberg New Boymuda plaid shorts, Milly Dickies shorts, Alice + Olivia slim shorts, Stella McCartney deckchair striped shorts, Burberry jacquard shorts or NW3 Ditsy floral shorts

Stay cool and fresh in a semi-sheer or sheer shirt: Free People Best of Both Worlds shirt, Rory Beca Laura pocket tunic shirt, Dsquared2 Gladis T top, T by Alexander Wang paneled silk shirt or ASOS pussybow shirt (in cream)

p.s. Just got back from a week's glamping in Wales which was fabulous! Hence the lack of blog posts. Spain photos and photos from glamping coming soon (wish my blog would automatically update with new posts ;)

p.p.s. With all the time I have spent in the car over the last few weeks I can tell you that from Bordeaux to San Sebastian, Álava to Bidderay, Lampeter to Aberaeron everyone LOVES "Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye (and featuring Kimbra). It is played everywhere! Fun fact: In 2010 I was wandering around Melbourne with my camera and randomly photographed Kimbra and her friend Devin. They were actually out shopping for a dress for Kimbra's first video clip (she ended up wearing Gail Sorronda)! Weird how you meet people in life and then they become super famous :)

London Fashion Week AW 2012...MJ

Beautiful Aussie model MJ, Somerset House, London, February 2012.

Easy hair (even I could manage this one I think!) inspiration for this week.... and a lesson in how to dress down a lace top. Team with black jeans and a pair of boots as MJ has done.

Recreate MJ's Look (kind of):

Take a lace top: Nanette Lepore Cotillion lace top, Ellery Celtic lace tee with leather sleeves, Rory Beca Alegre lace top, Anna Sui embellished lace top or Paul & Joe Sister Cristof short sleeved lace top

Team with a pair of Rag & Bone/JEAN high rise skinny jeans

Paris Fashion Week SS 2012...Before Hermès

 Before Hermès, Paris, October 2011.

A simple summer maxi dress to slip on when it is unbearably hot.....as it was in Paris last September/October during fashion week. Accessorise with a simple pendant, sandals, sunscreen, a slick of eyeliner and a smoosh of tinted lip cream (nothing that will smudge or run in the heat). I love Fresh sugar lip treatment in rose (which I always stock up on when I visit NYC).

Recreate her look (kind of):

Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent Empire maxi dress, Patterson J. Kincaid St. Tropez dress, Chinti and Parker twisted shoulder dress (great empire line which would work over a bikini after a day at the beach), Leaves of Grass Avignon printed silk dress

Paris Fashion Week SS 2012...Before Carven

Need new sunglasses for the festival season? Go oversized!

Recreate her Look (kind of):

Elizabeth and James Melrose sunglasses, Linda Farrow Luxe snakeskin round sunglasses, The Row round sunglasses, Charles Anastase round sunglasses

Slip on an elephant print shirt: Paul & Joe Sister elephant print shirt or ASOS shirt with elephant print

Weekend Life....Daylesford Organic Summer Festival

Daylesford Organic Summer Festival, Gloucestershire, 19 May 2012.

On a wet and chilly morning a few weeks ago, we headed with friends to the beautiful Daylesford Organic Farm in the heart of Gloucestershire for their annual summer festival. I am a regular visitor to the Daylesford organic shops/cafe's in Notting Hill and Pimlico in London but this was my first visit to the organic farm where (most) of the food for the farm shops is grown or reared. It is a stunning property (owned by Sir Anthony and Lady Bamford) and despite the weather we all had a fabulous time. There were cooking demonstrations (with special guest chef Raymond Blanc), farm tours via tractor/trailer train , a jazz band, dog show (my absolute favourite part of the day..... I love photographing kids and dogs! I think I photographed the winner of "Your Child's Best Friend" category and "Dog Most Like It's Owner" but it all got a bit confusing as to who had won what;), a delicious sausage sizzle (with sausages and hamburgers from the Daylesford farm), cider tasting, bread making demonstrations, sheep dog demonstrations and lots more. I can't wait to go again next year!

p.s. If you live in London or even if you are just visting, I have just read that Daylesford Organic have a pop-up cafe on the roof of Selfridges. I can't wait to try it out!
